What to expect on Langtang Valley Trek?

One of our clients who embarked on this journey with us would like to share the trekking experiences in Langtang Valley.
Story by Eunice Green (USA)
Trekking to Langtang Valley has always been on my wish list. I heard good reviews from my friends who had an amazing experience of trekking in this beautiful place. I inquired to them about the itinerary and a good travel agency that would be responsible for making all the arrangements during the trek. They recommended Mount Fuji Adventure. I immediately looked up their website and found their itinerary impressive. Additionally, they provide customized itineraries, which is truly appreciable. After inquiring with the Mount Fuji team about the trip, I was even more sure that I wanted to embark on this trek with them.
My journey started with an adventurous drive from Kathmandu to Syabrubesi. I really enjoyed this bus ride as I love the views of the green hills and rivers along the way. My trek started on the 2nd day, and I was captivated by the stunning scenery of the surroundings that I witnessed. Crossing the suspension bridges was very enthralling. The sounds of the flowing river made me feel the serenity of nature.
Some sections were challenging, but I made gradual ascents and communicated with other trekkers and guides, which made my journey engaging and interesting. I made many friends who are as passionate about trekking as me. Staying overnight in the tea houses and having meals while having conversations with the hosts was my favorite part of my journey. I got a chance to come across the beautiful village settlements and got glimpses of the local culture and lifestyle. Visiting the Kyanjin Gompa added a spiritual touch to my journey. If you are trekking in Langtang Valley, I recommend you visit the local cheese factory in Kyanjin Gompa village and try the cheese which is truly delicious.
Hiking to Tserko Ri was the most intriguing part of the journey. I got a chance to witness the panoramic views of the Langtang Lirung, Yala Peak, and Naya Kanga Peaks, which was phenomenal to witness. On top of that, the view of Langtang Lirung Glacier made the journey more magical, presenting its breathtaking beauty. The journey made me slip into a state of liberosis, which took a huge unknown weight off my mind, making me feel light. The urge to get immersed in the beauty of the snow-covered mountains was immense. I took my time soaking in the beauty of nature and took many beautiful pictures and videos. My fellow trekkers were extremely happy and emotional getting a chance to see the pristine mountains up close from Tserko Ri.
I would like to express my gratitude to my guide, who accompanied me throughout the journey, providing his valuable insights on navigation, and the porter, who assisted me in carrying the heavy bags and ensuring that I got to immerse myself in the beauty of the region. I am thankful to the Mount Fuji team, who designed the itinerary that included all the special attractions of the Region, and I am looking forward to going on more treks with them in the future.
