Best Time for Manaslu Circuit Trek

Spring and Autumn seasons are considered the best time for Manaslu Circuit Trek. We recommend trekking in the Spring and Autumn to get the most perks. During the springtime (March, April, and May), the temperature is mild, and the environment is decorated by vibrant rhododendrons. It makes the whole atmosphere lively and delightful. In addition, the clear skies present mesmerizing views of the snow-capped peaks, elevating your sightseeing experience. The beautiful and vibrant atmosphere of autumn makes it stand out as one of the best seasons to embark on the Manaslu Circuit Trek.
Similarly, the autumn season (September, October, and November) is also considered the ideal time to trek in Manaslu. During the autumn season, the weather is moderate, and the skies are clear, which rewards you with crystal-clear views of the snowy peaks. There is minimal chance of rainfall in the autumn season, and the trails are dry, which makes traversing relatively less challenging. Autumn falls right after the summer/ monsoon season. The landscapes are clearly washed by the monsoon rains, which makes the whole surrounding clear and pleasant. The most beautiful and distinct views of the snow-capped peaks are visible during the autumn season which makes it one of the most ideal times for trekking in Manaslu Region.
Trekking in the Summer/ Monsoon (June, July, and August) can be relatively challenging because of the frequent downpours, which makes the trail slippery and muddy. In addition, there is a probability of getting a leech bite, which is very unpleasant. You will have to be prepared for weather-related challenges and be well-equipped with rain gear if you wish to embark on this trek during the summer/ monsoon season. As it is not a peak trekking season, you will get a chance to trek in tranquil paths allowing yourself to deeply connect with nature. You will be rewarded with the lush scenery, and when the weather clears up, the beautiful scenery of the mountains and surroundings can be seen. However, the challenges that come along while trekking in the summer/ monsoon season should also be considered, and preparations should be made accordingly.
The Manaslu Region experiences its coldest days during the winter (December, January, and February). As the temperature drops significantly, trekking in the winter requires a good level of endurance in the cold to complete the trek smoothly. Many lodges and teahouses get closed in the higher elevations and the pathways are covered with snow. Crossing the Larkya La Pass would also be relatively challenging in the winter season. The views of snowy mountains are phenomenal, but you will need to be well-equipped with warm clothes, proper gear, and equipment to embark on this journey in winter.
Every season offers something special and unique. However, if you choose the ideal seasons then you will have an enriching journey which will fill you with joy. So, it is highly recommended to select the ideal season.
