Best Time for Mardi Himal Trek

It is important to select the ideal time before trekking to receive the maximum perks. Spring and Autumn are the ideal seasons to embark on the Mardi Himal Trek. During the Spring (March, April, and May), the temperature is milder, and the environment is very pleasant, which creates a delightful atmosphere for trekking. There is minimal chance of downpours, creating a favorable walking environment. The vibrant blooming rhododendrons in the forests make the whole environment lively. The clear views of the snow-capped peaks can be seen during the spring season, which will elevate your sightseeing experience. It is one of the peak trekking seasons when many travelers embark on the journey because of the mild weather and lively environment.
Autumn (September, October, and November) is considered another best time to embark on the Mardi Himal Trek. During the autumn season, the temperatures are milder, and there are fewer clouds in the sky, which rewards the trekkers with mesmerizing views of the snow-clad peaks and pristine landscapes. The unobstructed view of the surroundings also allows you to take beautiful pictures of the slow-clad peaks which you can cherish for a lifetime. The weather is stable in the autumn season which makes traversing the terrain less challenging, and trekkers can immerse themselves in the serenity of nature.
During the summer/monsoon season (June, July, and August), the trails can be slippery because of the rainfall which can make the walking more challenging. The morning views after the night’s rainfall are stunning, but the presence of leeches, especially in the forested area, can cause discomfort to the trekker. Trekking in the summer/monsoon season requires a good level of preparation and dedication.
Similarly, during the winter season, the temperature drops, and it gets extremely cold especially in the night time. The skies are clear and the spectacular views of the snow-covered mountains are visible. However, bearing the extreme cold can be challenging to some, and the presence of snow on the paths can make traversing difficult for some. December, January, and February are the winter months in Nepal.
As every traveler wishes to complete the journey smoothly while getting excellent visibility, we recommend trekking in autumn and spring because of the favorable climatic conditions as well as the clear and mesmerizing views of the snow-capped mountains.
